Jamaican pianist Paul Shaw, prize-winner of the 1986 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and the 1988 William Kapell International Piano Competition, offered the program, "Caribbean Crossings: A New World Beyond Borders," with works by Beethoven, Lecuona (Cuba), Ludovic Lamothe (Haiti), Chopin, Hector Campos-Parsi (Puerto Rico) and Oswald Russell (Jamaica).
